All Bets Are Off: Mai Tai Tom’s 66 Hours In Las Vegas

When we received an invitation to my niece’s wedding in Las Vegas (presided over by Elvis, no less), there could only be one answer … “Thank you very much!” During our 66 hours in Sin City, Tracy and I also visited a museum dedicated to organized crime, a Lunar New Year spectacular at an ever-changing botanical garden, checked out a large oval object seen from just about everywhere in town and got lost near the canals of Venice. We also walked among interesting artifacts from a famous sunken luxury liner, were lit up by sparkling neon signs, paid our respects at a monument to one of the city’s most famous mobsters and stopped by to admire some colorful boulders on the way out of town. And the meals … spectacular! Take a gamble and join us. Viva Las Vegas, baby!
