A Refreshing Venetian After-Dinner Refreshment

Tracy and I were told about this Venetian after-dinner drink by a drunk Brit (you can always trust a drunk Brit) when we stayed at the Pension Calcina in Venice back in 2005. Over the past five years we have tried to perfect it to fit our taste, and the following recipe is our favorite variation. It’s also a good brunch concoction or a refreshing cocktail on a warm afternoon. Hell, it’s good anytime!

2 Cups (16 ounces) softened Lemon Sorbet
1/4 Cup Vodka
1/3 Cup Prosecco
4 Tablespoons Heavy Cream
1 Egg White

Recipe Directions:
Chill four to six Champagne Flutes
In blender, mix Sorbet until smooth
Add Vodka, Cream, and Prosecco and blend more
Add Egg White and blend until frothy
Pour into chilled glasses and top with a splash of Limoncello

Serve immediately!
